Description

Metal Golem is the cleaner and faster branch of the golem line. It keeps the same blocky frame, but the body is denser, the knockback resistance is far higher, and it starts angry.

You can still catch it placing blocks if nothing is nearby, but most encounters do not stay neutral for long. It closes space quickly, swings for 4 damage, and does not yield ground once the chase starts.

Metal Golems appear in Dungeon Space, Prison, Ground Rust, Snow, and later dungeon layers. Like ordinary golems they are weak to pickaxes. The extra reason to kill them is mercury tendrils on top of the usual bone and eye drops.
