One of 4 guns in the game. This flashy armament is closest in function to a shotgun, despite appearing more like a pistol or blunderbuss.

Its bullets deal 1 damage, but the Freikugel fires 8 at once, and the bullets do not incur immunity frames. This means that if you can get every bullet to land, the Freikugel is capable of one-shotting a (non-fungal) Bubblebear.

The catch is the Freikugel's high spread; its spread is 4.5, the highest in the game, so this gun functions best in close-range encounters where you can consistently land most of its bullets. Otherwise, you'd be better off using the needle shot or the tathlum tack.

Obtained exclusively through crafting. It's the 'gold'-tier gun, so crafting one may be difficult outside of the late game; some of the paths of least resistance involve combining a tathlum tack with either a glaggle token or a needle shot.
