Alongside a hook, this is one of the two most important traversal items in the game. Hold right-click while falling to glide, slow your descent, and turn dangerous drops into controlled movement.

It does not lift you to high places by itself. The real strength comes from chaining it after a hook launch: if you release the hook at peak upward speed and quickly swap to the glove, you can keep that momentum alive for much longer and turn it into a huge glide.

It is also a reliable way to survive drops. Repeated right-click taps just before landing can bleed off enough speed to avoid fall damage entirely. Active gliding does spend durability, so it is powerful but not free to use forever.

KEY NOTE: Durability is almost only lost when starting to use this item, not mostly from how long you use it. Spamming it will kill it quickly.

If you combine this with a feather or wool to get more of the other:

wool + Glove = feathers
feather + Glove = wool
1 wool + feather = Glove

By cycling this, you can turn 3 feathers/wool into 5 feathers/wool, creating infinite wool, feathers, and gloves.
